As human cases of the swine influenza A (H1N1) virus are being reported throughout the United States and within Clark County, measures are being taken to create a rapid response system for local swine flu cases in order to prevent a pandemic situation.
Medical Resources Staffing Services in Las Vegas is partnering with the Southern Nevada Health District from now through Summer 2010 to staff for the H1N1 virus vaccination program.
We’re looking for qualified healthcare staff for this H1N1 public health initiative to fill temporary positions in nursing and data entry, as well as medical administrative assistant jobs, onsite coordination openings, warehouse opportunities and more. This program is a great opportunity for new graduates or those who would like to gain experience in public health.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be within commuting distance of Greater Las Vegas
- CPR card required, as applicable per job description
- TB immunization required
- Valid Nevada license required for nursing jobs
- Microsoft Word/Excel skills required for healthcare administration positions
- 7,000+ strokes per minute and a minimum of one year experience required for data entry positions
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Bilingual a plus
