Group Discount Health Program
Our healthcare staffing agency offers all temporary and long-term assignment employees the chance to participate in a group discount health program, available upon start of assignment. Benefits offered through our group discount health program include medical, dental, vision, term life, accidental death benefit and in-hospital cash benefits.
Medical Plan Referrals
Our medical employment agency assists temporary and long-term assignment employees with establishing individual health insurance plans by offering referrals to medical plans through reputable national carriers. Eligible employees can choose from HMO, PPO and basic hospitalization plans with a variety of deductibles. We also offer dental, vision and life insurance coverage referrals.
401(k) Plan
Employees working temporary and long-term assignments are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) retirement plan after working 1,000 hours in a 12-month period. Eligible employees can contribute 1% to 100% of their salary on a pre-tax basis, up to $16,500 in 2009 (contribution limits vary based on guidelines set forth by IRS). Medical Resources Staffing Services may offer contributions at its discretion at the end of each calendar year, with full vesting after two years.
Short-Term Disability/Paid Family Leave
Temporary and long-term assignment employees in California, New Jersey and New York are eligible to participate in a short-term disability program that provides income if a non-work related illness or injury prevents them from working. In addition, temporary and long-term assignment employees in California are eligible for Paid Family Leave if they cannot work because they are caring for an ill family member.
Referral Bonuses
We pay referral bonuses of up to $500 as a way to thank those who assist us in improving healthcare by building our network of skilled candidates. Please see a medical staffing consultant for specifics.
Memberships and Discounts
Our temporary and long-term assignment employees can take advantage of a variety of benefits and discounts offered through Medical Resources Staffing Services, including credit union participation, discounts to movies theaters and other attractions and more. To confirm availability of attraction tickets, requests must be made at least one week in advance.
